Hello Kitty and her friends were scheduled to put on a Magical Musical Theatre show on the main stage of the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre from Friday, June 19th to Sunday June 21st.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform the public that the whole show has been cancelled.
According to the organizers, GoodMILES Sdn Bhd, the ship carrying the show's props and equipment was impounded by authorities in Singapore due to a court order issued to the forwarding company handling the shipment.
Before the unfortunate news about the event, the organisers of 'Hello Kitty's Fantastical Adventures', GoodMILES Sdn Bhd, generously gave away 15 pairs of tickets to the best Bruneian Hello Kitty fans.
All Hello Kitty fans needed to do to win a pair pf tickets to the amazing show was either send a picture of themselves with their favourite Hello Kitty toys OR send a photo of their favourite Hello Kitty toys and send them to Simpur before 9am, Tuesday 16th June 2009.
This competition was open to all Bruneian Residents.
4-year Old Elise Green wins Early Bird Competition
Simpur and GoodMILES decided to choose the best out of the first entries that were submitted and four-year-old Elise Green won her pair tickets to the event and a special Hello Kitty bag sponsored by GoodMILES!
The surprise Early Bird preliminary competition prizes were presented to her at the Hello Kitty Press Conference which was held at Orchid Garden Hotel on Tuesday, 19th May 2009.
We'd like to congratulate Elise once again on winning the Early Bird competition and wish everyone else participating in this competition the very best of luck!
