 Have you ever wondered where the word 'Darussalam' came from? Or the name of the place that you lived throughout your life in Brunei Darussalam? Or how they practised Hari Raya in Brunei decades ago? Or how the Brunei National Anthem came about? Or the Brunei Flag? Or the many questions that you have always wanted to know about Brunei?
'The Golden Warisan Brunei Darussalam', a book written and published by Haji Mohd Rozan bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, the author of the highly informative 'The Daily Brunei Resources' blog (www.bruneiresources.blogspot.com) tries to answer all those questions and many more.
The book features a compilation of articles written about the history of many aspects of Brunei ranging from when Brunei was a maritime empire in the region to today.
In conjunction with our 26th National Day, Haji Mohd Rozan has generously given us 10 copies of this book to give away to 10 lucky Simpur visitors! All you'll need to do is answer the following question correctly, and you'll automatically be included in a draw to win the book!
