About Myself
Started my photography endeavours in September 2006, generally as a means of furthering my experimentation into graphic design and manipulation, as prior to my involvement in photography, my main passion was multimedia and graphics, and web development. I dabbled using digital point and shoot cameras and film cameras for a while before that though, secretly longing for a DSLR to call my own.

After I shot my first few frames with my new camera, I promptly rekindled my activity in Flickr and its various forums to further my understanding of the equipments I have. I've met a lot of wonderful people in Flickr, constantly inspired by the images they share. This constant feeding of ideas into the groups meant everyone can learn and everyone can teach, and everyone can grow together in photography.

A chance meeting with Wandi of BruneiForeverForums finally baited me into the local photography/photoblogging scene, all the while meeting new faces, and finally putting names to online handles and nicknames. Names that were only attached to images that inspired now became friends that I shoot along with.

I strive to represent the images I capture as how I see it, preferring to do only minimal manipulation on the images, adhering to the Photojournalism ethos. While I don't shy away from heavily manipulating my images, I find that people can appreciate photography as a means of representing reality from the viewpoint of my eye, which encourages me more to further my education in this artform. My current interest are broadranging; adept at all types of sports shooting, dabbling in glamour/fashion/portaiture photography, candids, street photography and event photography are my forte. I'm willing to push the boundaries in the types of shots I take, and having Strobist.com as my guide, I find that I can incorporate what I've learned from that site into most of the shots I take.

My current bug is landscape and nature shoots, which I find myself trekking in the middle of nowhere with a heavy back pack to find that beauty that's just beyond the next obstacle. Be it rain, or streaking sun shine; be it a short hike, or an hour trek; be it warm afternoon weather, or nail biting 4am chill, knowing that that one image can erase the exhaustion in that one instant, how can you not be addicted? 10. Any other information you want to share (optional) : A devout Nikonian, an avid Lowepro collector, and advocator of the Strobist movement, and Flickr loves me.
